I do quite a bit of work with schools and daycares taking children into nature and after a day like this I always feel at least 10 calendar and several more "in my imagination" years younger and have a good feeling about our natural world’s future, at least locally.
I just wanted to send you my feedback and let you know what a great time the kids at Bayside had. They were so excited and keen to learn and help out. I think the day was appreciated and enjoyed by all. Some of the students were even discussing getting a group together and making this a monthly endeavor; hopefully the momentum carries through!
